I totally agree. I just don't get it why people can be so proud of themselves after loosing their virginity. They make it sound so worthless. What's there to be proud of? Don't you want to save it for someone special? - After marriage, your spouse? For someone you really love? (Erm, to those who are quiet about it, then it's fine. That's your problem. I'm talking about those who are proud of it and telling everyone that they already had sex. -.-)

Religious views aside (because it's obviously wrong to have sex before marriage). If you save it till after marriage for that one special person, that is one of the best gift that you can give to your spouse. It would be more meaningful.

I partly blame the media because I know, media plays a huge part. Stop listening to the media and listen to your parents! (Now I sound like I'm nagging -.- I'm referring to under aged kids) Especially to those young ones out there. Forget about curiosity. Not everything needs to be known. There are two sides of curiosity - Good and Bad.

I won't touch about the good side of curiosity, I'll give you the link at the end of this post. About the bad side of curiosity:

For example,

You know it's wrong to open e-mails or a private computer of others. Even if you're so curious to know, it is WRONG. You know that. There's no need to tell. It's called respecting the privacy of others.

Likewise for premarital sex, you know it's not right so why do it? (Well, this is related to religion again. Haha. But of course with the exception of atheist, free thinker, agnostic and non believers). Of course, there are some people who disagree....

Firstly, "waiting for the special person = another bad idea. If you romanticize the idea of The one and only special partner you'll end up waiting for him/her forever."

This person is saying that it is a bad idea to wait for the special partner because you'll end up waiting for him/her forever. Such negative thoughts! He obviously doesn't believe in being patient. And he obviously doesn't believe that special person exist....or he's just not confident enough.

"First time can be scary" - is this out of curiosity?

"without a rush" - At first he said you'll end up waiting for him/her forever but at the same time he said "without a rush". He obviously does not understand the meaning of patience.

"Makes the fun last longer, too." - So, now it's about having fun? I thought he was trying to define how precious it can be? Oh well, who cares.

Anyway, I know that I mentioned "religious views aside". I just can't seem to ignore religion. Lol. Alright alright. Well, some people would prefer experienced people instead. So, it really depends on who you're talking about. Of course these are just my opinions. If your thoughts differ, then I'm sorry. This is my blog, my thoughts, my say. :)

Happy New Year! XD

Hey everyone! I know it's a little different since almost every year I'll do a wrap up of the year but I didn't last year. I was busy~ ;P There were lots of happenings and it caught me up. :O

This was yesterday! Kecoh!! >.<

It was a year full of ups and downs. But there was one thing I learned. Communication is one of the most important things to keep a relationship between one another strong and going. We failed based on communication, so things happened. I don't know how much more I need to emphasize on how important communication is. But gladly, I've let it out and expressed my thoughts. So, I shall communicate more! And we shall communicate more! I love you my most precious people.

But there's a reason to why it happened, it strengthen our bond. :) I shall stop talking about last year and start with the new year! XD

I usually have resolutions. What about this year? I don't have much I think? Well, I'm still thinking about my dreams though. ;) I shall keep my resolutions to myself this year. I'm going to work on it. ;) Take care and have a lovely new year! :)

Morning Songs

You know the feeling when you wake up in the morning? Everyone hates waking up in the morning. If it's not everyone, then I HATE waking up in the morning. But, you know, we have to. For school or work, or to pray, etc.

Also these days, everyone has an iPod, iPhone, iPad, mp3 player.....okay, a gadget for you to listen to music. In the bus, train, while walking....or running. But I think we all listen to certain songs on certain moods/occasions. Am I right? Even if it's a no, it's a yes for me so yea it doesn't matter what your answer is. Lol.

So, what are your morning songs? It depends on the person, really. Some prefer listening to heavy metal/rock to keep them awake. I used to do that when I was younger. Well, for now, I prefer easy listening music. It keeps me calm (I know I've said this before), maybe cos I'm getting old. T.T But I look young anyway... >.<

This post is random, but I wanna recommend some morning songs. :) Not Korean songs, as I've said the other time. I need to start my day with a positive mind to motivate myself. With that, I need positive songs! These are old songs. But are still good to listen to. :D

As much as I love the song, I dislike the MV. That is why I post this video instead. Listening to the beautiful melody of the song and beautiful lyrics, I imagined a girl looking out of her window seeing a beautiful sunflower field.

Smiling happily and making breakfast for her loved one. But all I see in the MV are loads of pregnant people. Hmm well, that's cos the vocalist wrote the song when his wife was pregnant. It's alright.

My Favourite Baby

I honestly have no idea what to blog about. Although! I have several draft topics that are on pending for me to blog about but... Having said that, my first sentence was obviously a reason for me to give. Here are several topics that I've drafted and have yet to blog about:

1) Colours - How it affects us
2) Morning songs
3) Favourite YouTube channels
4) Professionalism in emotional control
5) Mr/Miss know-it-all

These are only 5 out of so many other drafts. Whenever I have ideas to blog about, I'll blog a few sentences and save them as drafts. That will at least make me not forget about the topic I wanna blog about. But, I'll blog about them someday. Not now~ >_<

Anyway, I've been having a huge crush on this little darling for quite a while already. She's just too lovely. She makes my day every time I had a bad day, without fail! Yes, besides listening to pastel music, this little kid won't fail to put a smile on my face.

Isn't she adorable?! HEHEHE! Yes she's Korean~ ^__^

I also love this other mixed American-Japanese baby girl, Nina, but the sad thing is, her dad isn't gonna put anymore videos of her. :( She's grown up now and probably wants some privacy. I respect that. :) But you can check out baby Nina here for her past videos if you've not heard of her before. :)

Back to adorable Yerin. Oh yes her name is Yerin Park. I don't know what words to describe but "obsession" is a bit too strong a word to use. Kekeke! So I used the word "crush" instead. ;P Now my whole family knows about her. XD My little brother loves her too! There are too many videos of her that are so so adorable. I'll just put up one video here and you can view the rest on her channel.

She's too cute right?! HEHEHE. <3

[By the way this is not related to today's blog post but I really love Xiaxue's new blog skin. It's really really pretty. It's so flowery and lady-like. I want my blog to look like hers :O But I've just recently changed my blog skin, so maybe next time. I shall see first. It already took DAYS (or was it weeks?) to design my blog this way and it's not even complete yet. So I don't think I have the time to design my blog to look like hers. T.T

Other than that, I've applied for a free sample for Bifesta! I hope I'll be getting the sample soon since I applied it last week and the deadline is tomorrow at 9am sharp! If you have yet to apply for it, go do it fast! If you don't know what Bifesta is, it's a popular makeup remover brand from Japan! The best thing is, the makeup remover is water based! Honestly, I'm not a fan of makeup remover. :O Weird, I know. I usually just cleanse my face with cleanser and done! Only recently, I started using facial makeup remover wipes. It's sold at many places but I bought the one from Guardian Pharmacy. It's cheap and alcohol & fragrance free! It's really easy to remove my makeup with it! Especially when I'm wearing thick eyeliner.

So if I happen to receive the free Bifesta sample, I'll blog a review about the product! ^__^]

Be Yourself

(Before I start, I know I didn't blog last week - well I plan to blog at least once a week. But last week was hectic. My cousin got married! He's the same age as me. And as usual, people keep asking me when is my turn. I'm not that old really! -.-)

Anyway, I wrote this on my FB wall:

"The fact is that all of us and all of you may be blind - not physically but metaphorically. We fumble around this world barely knowing what we're doing or where we're going. We find somebody that we want to be with but barely know who they are. And then we sometimes go through huge extents to try to change who we are to make that person like us. We do it through the makeup we think we should wear. We do it through the clothes that we think we should buy. We do it through the actions we think we should do. And we do it through the words we think we should say. We try to be somebody that we're not to make somebody we barely know like us a little bit more."

Those deep words are by Simon Stawski. It's too bad that non likes it~ Except my brothers. >.< But it's a fact of life. We tend to want to impress the people we barely know while we forget about those important ones. I was watching a video made by Simon and his wife. They were making reviews on a video by Brown Eyed Girls - Cleansing Cream. You should watch the video and then watch the review by Simon and his wife > Review < then, you might understand what I'm talking about. If you even bother. Lol.

I think (from my point of view) what they're trying to say is that we should just be ourselves and not try to copy others/try to be someone else just to impress someone we barely know. There's nothing wrong to look good of course, but I'm trying to say that we should bother more about the people who loves us and who are more important.

There's another video that I want to talk about. This video made me cry so much. It's "Pray" by Sunny Hill. Yes yes, both are Korean MVs, but you gotta watch em' cos they're really good! Trust me. Not some random ones I assure you. Both videos have hidden messages. About this one, I think it's trying to say that some humans might misuse their authority when they have power over those weaker ones. We take advantage of the power that we have and sometimes, can be heartless. Notice the word "some", please.

The creature (or I would say less fortunate being) was taken advantage of for their so-called experiment. Poor thing. Even animals deserve rights. I hate the cruelty being shown. I mean, they should just let it be it and not torture it, right? Ok I shall stop here. You get my point don't you?

Pastel Music

Pastel music is, in my definition, music that makes you feel happy and will definitely put a smile on your face. :)

In short, they're just easy listening. Happy songs. ^^

As you know, pastel means pale in colour. It gives you the soft relaxed feel. These days, I've been listening to a lot of pastel music. It keeps me calm and happy. :) Okay you might think that I'm always happy most of the time. Yeah you're right. But of course there are times when I feel like screaming at the top of my lungs to let out my anger, but that isn't always the best solution.

There are several things that I do to keep myself up and cheerful. One of them is listening to pastel music! I don't know about you, but it works for me. :D If you're an avid reader of my blog you would know that I will always find ways to keep myself (and others around me) happy. I mean, why would you want to live in a sad sad world? Try your best to put negativity aside (even though it's difficult at times, but try! =D) And here are some pastel music recommendations by me. I always listen to them. They're all Korean pastel music though. But in the future, I'll recommend some English ones. ^^

Remember on my birthday post I got a wish from EGG1 and EGG2? Yes, this is one of their songs. Have a listen! They have no MV (music video)/ PV (promotional video) for this though. I fell in love with their music from the first time I listened to them. And this was my first song! ^^

밀크티 (Milktea) - 라면왕 (The Prince of Ramyeon)

You have got to watch this video. It's super cute! And the song too! (&& the guy >.<) I'm a sucker for cute stuff! Too adorable. :D If you do not know what Ramyeon is, it is the Korean instant noodle. ^^

달콤한 소금 (Sweet Salt) - Secret

You have to watch this too! The story line is sweet like sugar! Heehee. It made me smile so much~ ^^

Who's looking at your profile? (Facebook)

Hey lovely readerssssssssss! Yes I'm back again. I mentioned that I will be updating regularly, and that's what I'm doing now.

(I know I used to say that a lot. "Sorry I haven't been updating. I'll update more soon." But I usually FAIL to do so. But that's not the case for now. I have no idea why but I just have a lot of stuff to update and I've kept them as draft for too long.)

Let's begin today's topic. Have you ever been curious on who is "stalking" your profile on Facebook? Hmm maybe I'll use a nicer phrase, "Fans". I strongly believe that I'm not the only one who's curious on who is always checking out our Facebook profile. I'M SURE YOU ARE TOO, RIGHT! Bleargh~

There was Friendster. It was so exciting in the past, we will always know who our fans are. XD (Of course, with the exception of those who disable the function - I was one of them because I didn't want people to know that I viewed their profile. Boohoo! -.-)

It's different for Facebook. Facebook doesn't allow that to happen. It has this policy thingy. I'm not sure but I've read it somewhere about it. So if you ever seen those application which says "100% working. Click Like to know who viewed your profile", don't believe them. They're all FAKE because Facebook will terminate them if they ever find out..something like that.

Anyway, I heard from a friend (I don't want to mention who) that THERE IS ACTUALLY A WAY TO KNOW WHO YOUR "FANS" ARE. I didn't believe this at first and was so curious, I googled.

Answer: Friends who appear on your profile are your "Fans"

Of course you would say:

1) No, they're probably just random. It's randomized by Facebook.

2) Those are just the people who interacts with you the most. Facebook is just giving you links to the people you are most interested in.

The thing is, it's NOT randomized. You wanna know what is random? Remember the old Facebook layout where your 6 friends are shown?

Yes, this one was randomized. Obviously.

But what about the new layout? There are 10 friends instead. Try refreshing your page 5 times...or more if you're really curious. You will see the same 10 people on your profile, only rearranged slightly. Now that doesn't seem like random right? Out of so many friends on Facebook, why those 10?

Also, if you're saying those people are people you interact most with and Facebook is just giving you links to people whom you interact with the most. I disagree. Those who appeared on my page are NOT close to me and I rarely or NEVER talk to them on Facebook before. And I NEVER clicked on some profiles before as a matter of fact. But they are on my FB? Hmm. Of course some of my close friends appear before, but what about those I rarely/never talked to?

If it's not interaction with each other, and it's not random, then there's got to be something else. The most obvious thing I figured (and some other people too) is that those people are those who click on my profile a lot. (If someone stops looking at your profile, it will change to the next person who viewed your profile the most number of times. I'm sure you get the picture right? There's like a pattern to it. Lol!) If your friends are not hidden, others can see who your "fans" are as well! If not, then it's only safe to your own knowing. Hehehe! Oh! If you've made a list of your friends yourself, then that doesn't count though. For example, "My Best Friends" - then all your best friends are in that list. Get what I mean? Yes.

Of course, these are just based on my observations and it's totally your choice to decide what you think about it. But I'm sure there's a possibility that it's right. I've even tried google-ing. Some people do think the same way that I do. While some, never realised. I have to thank my friend for this.

I believe if everyone starts to realise this, there will be privacy issues. O.O So, if you're reading this, consider yourself lucky~ HAHA. Kidding. If you're willing to share, do it. If not, it'll be good that you know who's stalking you and they don't even know that you know about it. Get it? Thank you very nice! :D

True Love

If you're a sucker for love stories, you should watch the video above. I can't embed it, so you have to go to the link to watch it. They're NOT 72 years old, but have been MARRIED for 72 years. It's worth watching. Really sweet and touching.

I have to admit that it isn't easy to find a love like that. I guess they're lucky to have each other. They remind me of the time when I so called celebrated my birthday with my friends, we were playing monopoly deal and suddenly an old Caucasian couple (estimated about 80 years old and above) stop for a while to watch us playing the card game. They caught our attention. The old lady was smiling at me and I can't help but smile back. Guess what? They were holding hands. Awwwwwwwwww. :')

I showed my mum the video. I told her about how sweet they were. 72 years of marriage and died together holding hands. I told my mum that they're really lucky to have found each other, it's really magical. My mum agreed and said, "Besides all the sweet things that we've heard about them, I'm very sure they've gone through a lot of difficult times too. I think that's what makes me salute them. The lady, she must have been really strong."

I have to agree so much to what my mum have said. Ladies are the backbone of their husbands and carries huge responsibilities as a wife and especially, as a mother. Remember the saying? "Behind every successful man lies a woman." Another example of a strong woman. <3 Not saying that fathers are not important, but backbones(support) need to be strong in order for the family to work out. I envy couples like this.

So I tried with local celebrity and one of the friendliest K-Wave band, Standing Egg! ^^ I'll probably blog about them someday (I know I mentioned that I won't be blogging about K-Wave that much on this blog, but they're really good! I recommend you readers to listen to their music! Very soothing~~ ^^).

Everyone Has Dreams

A touching video indeed. I've never bothered to watch X-Factor, but someone posted this on Facebook. I was curious so I watched it.
I was wondering, will there be anyone who wouldn't cry after watching this? Or wouldn't there be anyone who won't be touched after watching and hearing his story? Hmm, wouldn't you not have a heart if you're not touched by this? I don't know.... I know that there's a bad side of everyone. But I do believe that there's a good side of everyone too.
As much as I want to believe this, I guess I can't. Why do wars exist? It hurts me to watch this. It hurts me so much. If you didn't bother to watch the video, read this:
He doesn't know his own age. He was born during a war in Iraq and was placed in a shoe box which was sent to the orphanage. He was born in a war, of course there's no birth certificate and such. Which also explain his disabilities.
I guess there are still people in this world who doesn't have a heart. Why do we make the world so complicated when we can enjoy the beauty of living on Earth peacefully? I have the answer, but I will say it on my future post. You would probably know the answer anyway.
Let's put that aside. My intention of this post is to say what's on the title of this post, "Everyone Has Dreams". Even him (Emmanuel - I don't know if this is the correct spelling). Even with his disabilities, he dare to step up. He has the courage to reach for his dreams. Dreams are not impossible to reach. You just have to have faith and keep working on it. Let me quote what Agnes Monica have said, "Dream, believe, make it happen".
I have dreams too, just like everyone else. How should I make it happen? I've tried my best. I've tried so hard but I'm not reaching it. Maybe I did not try hard enough. Or maybe sometimes, dreams don't come true if it's not meant to be. It's easy to dream. It's hard to believe in it to happen. It's even harder to make it happen. I have a strong belief. But the thing that is stopping me from reaching my dreams is "Making it happen". There were so many obstacles that I've went through.
But anyhow, I'll keep on trying. I know one fine day, I will reach it. Cos I believe. I will know it when I've reached it. If not, I still believe that there are better things for me that God has planned....and it might just be the only dream that I've never imagined.

Can't even see their faces...which is a good thing. Hmmph! Like I've said, it's really embarrassing okay. I never thought I would do this. -.- If you have asked me questions on formspring, you would probably know that he's one celebrity that I would want to date. Okayyyy wait. I didn't really mean it though. I was bored, so I answered questions asked by formspring a year ago.

I couldn't think of anyone at that moment. It was the "Twilight" fever during that time. So probably that was why I thought of him? Maybe. It's strange I didn't thought of any Korean celebrity!! O.o

So recently, I was browsing through formspring and I somehow found his formspring account (real one - verified) and followed him of course. Exactly a day after I followed him, he asked me this:

To those of you who are having a hard time anywhere, anytime, just remember to adopt selective memory! I think I've mentioned this before right? Heheh! You can choose to be happy if you really want to be happy~ ^^ Even little things can make you happy too you know? If you choose to select what/which to think about, just think about the little things that make you happy and learn how to appreciate and enjoy it! :D

The Malay Community

(I wrote this on the 31st July and I ended up forgetting to post it. -.- Sometimes I remember and I just got lazy. I know I've been biased towards my other blog. Sorry. But it's so much easier to post videos and links. I don't need to think. Lol)

Has anyone brought this up? I've not seen any so far. If you did saw it somewhere, do share it with me. On why I want to talk about this topic is because recently I went to a seminar (or whatever it was called) organised by Mendaki. I was somehow inspired by the speakers. They were talking about how we can do all the things in the world to make us shine. Do the things that we love doing and pushing our limits. Don't care what others are saying that is in a way, stopping us from doing what we want to do. This quote was shared by one of the speakers, "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." - Ralph Waldo Emerson.

I love that quote so much. Don't you agree? People are constantly trying to make you something else. Be it purposely or not. It's not easy to keep believing in yourself to keep at what you want to achieve and do it. There will always be obstacles. I will keep that quote in mind now.

Besides that, there's something I observed with the Malay community. I kinda did a reflection and I thought I'd just share this. I have only one main question. Why are we afraid of each other? (I'm not sure about the Malays in other countries though).What causes this to happen and why does everyone(almost) thinks the same? It hasn't come to my realisation until recent. Let me share with you a few scenarios:

1) It's weird when you are attending a Malay event and to actually say "Oh god, there's lots of Malays. I don't like it." Or "I don't mix well with Malays. I don't feel comfortable."

2) A new neighbour just moved in. The first reaction? "Oh my god this is scary. A Malay neighbour? As if there's nothing worst that could happen. Okay, we better be careful. We shouldn't be too friendly...afraid they might be "Kepo" - Busy body".

3) Upon seeing someone you don't particularly like (E.g. Mats/Minahs/Etc.)... "Ugh, what do they think they're doing? Typical Malays..sheesh."

I think that would be enough even though there are more examples. Anyway, are we that scary? Sometimes we ask ourselves why is it so difficult for the Malay community to shine? (We are slowly shining, and I'm glad) But my point is, we keep complaining on why we fail to outshine the other community but at the same time are "afraid of each other".

I know I might offend some people by blogging about this, but isn't it a fact? Isn't all this happening? And some of us are supporting and "agung-agungkan" other community....like for example, myself. Lol. Okay, I wouldn't say I "agung-agungkan" that other community. *You probably would know which community I'm talking about* But there's just something about them that attracts me. And the Japanese too. Or maybe some of you would say, the whites?

Fine, I'm talking about the Koreans. Sometimes I think to myself. What's so great about them? What do they have that we, The Malay community, doesn't have? What do we lack? If you say capabilities, then you must be kidding. We are all humans. What makes them different than us? Everyone is unique, yeah we know that. But nobody is greater than the other. We are unique, but equal at the same time. 1 brain, a pair of ears, 1 mouth, etc.

I think the difference is the way we think? Is it how we were brought up? What is it? I ever told myself this, "The Koreans and Japanese are really outstanding. They are recognised everywhere. If only the Malay community is recognised similarly. I would be so proud of us." Some of us are ashamed of ourselves. Am I right? "Oh my god, typical Malay." Erm, what is so typical of Malay? Are we labeling ourselves?

Sometimes, we may say it without realisation. Like myself, we are human. But have we ever thought that by saying "argh I don't want to mix with them. typical Malay." it also means that we are labeling ourselves? Why are we so "proud" of ourselves? Why do we put ourselves so low? Why do we always think that other communities are better than ourselves? Why? Are we being stereotypical by calling ourselves typical which makes us really typical?

I really can't answer that. I don't know why. Like I've said, it's probably the way we think and the way we were brought up. I'm constantly asking myself why.

Of course, I don't think there's anything wrong in giving our support for other communities as long as we don't forget our roots. People can say whatever they want. But as long as I love doing what I'm doing, what others say is secondary. But that doesn't mean that I should forget my roots and call myself a Korean. Because I'm not and never will be.

As much as I do not want to look down on my community, I sometimes do. I dare to admit because I want to learn why I do such things and what I need to do to stop doing so. Because I think it isn't healthy? I'm very sure that I'm not the only guilty conscious one here.

For as long as I'm still figuring out why, what I usually do is ignore. Ignorance can be a bliss, but there are just some things that needs to be solved. But where do I start?

Even if I find a way to start, how do I change the way my community thinks of ourselves? We can't change the way people think right? Or can we?

I'm not sure what the other communities think of their own community. You might want to share with me. Peace.

Hmm. My heart broke after watching these videos. Lol!! But I really miss watching them perform live already. I feel the need to meet them again. It was different for MBLAQ. I got to meet MBLAQ at the airport up close. REALLY CLOSE. Mir was less than a metre away from me. Yeah, that close. And after the airport, I saw them again for "Heal The World" concert. So, I was satisfied. Really happy.

For F.T. Island, they were so far away. :( I mean, I'm thankful I got to meet them and see them perform live. Yes, I am thankful. But I would really love to meet them up close, just like how close I was to MBLAQ. I could see them CLEARLY. I want the same for my F.T. Babies. I really hope they visit SG again (which most likely they will, as they mentioned above during the interview! ^^ hopefully Asia Tour!!), and have a fan meet or something. Can't believe I'm saying it again. Lol.

Another thing, I was really hoping for them to perform my favourite song by them. I love all of their songs because it's my type of music, band music. But my most favourite will have to be "Treasure". I don't know why but it's the best one by them. And they are treasures anyway (Five Treasure Island). Coincidentally (again, besides the sunflower), it's Seunghyun's favourite song by them. Oh why!! Copycat, always love what I love. LOL! Anyway, they didn't perform that song. :( I forgot that it's Korean Music Wave and not Asian Music Wave. Lol. "Treasure" is in Japanese. So, yeah I understand now why they didn't perform it. They are one of the friendliest, if not, the most friendliest of the idol groups. That's what I heard. And after watching this video above, I have to agree. I mean just look at them!
The first one to step out of the hotel was Soohyun and he was smiling! Next, Kevin was waving and smiling to fans! AJ was smirking and raising his eyebrows! Haha! Funny guy! Kiseop, even though this vid caught him for a few seconds, I saw him smiling! Goodness. Then it was Eli who waved at fans! And Dongho nodding and smiling!! Hoon was behind Kevin, couldn't really see him. He didn't smile though but I'm sure he did! They are THAT friendly. Not even FT Island are as friendly. Sobs T.T Maybe because someone used to pull Seunghyun hair. So they are rather afraid of the fans. Lol!

Korean Music Wave (Part 1)

As some of you might know, I went for Korean Music Wave last Friday and it was awesome! Hmm cut the excitement already. I know I'm way too late. Lol. But I'm gonna update anyway, for memories sake. But before that, do visit my other site for more updates on Korean Shows here.

Truthfully, the only reason why I took my time to update this is because it's frustrating to upload the pictures because blogger can be such a pain when it comes to uploading a huge amount of pics and arrangement of pics. (As usual, my K-wave updates are usually long.) I'll upload the fan cams on Part 2.

Before I start, I shall include colours for these idols.

1) They're amazingly different and hotter in person than on TV. Haha! I'm gonna give them the colour RED.

2) I love them on TV, love them in person, love them as they are cos they're just awesome. My favourites, I shall give them the colour FUCHSIA.

3) Forever good looking/cute/adorable/etc. I'll give them the colour BLUE.

4) Never really notice them. Never really took note of them. But they're really impressive! O.O I'll give them PURPLE.

5) BAMF! Made me speechless. Lime GREEN for them. :)

6) My bias. I'll give him my favourite colour, yellow, and special pink highlight! THIS! :D | >.< | ^.^v | XP

I may mix the colours up like this as an example -> KOREAN That means they're both my favourite and forever good looking. Lol.

KEVIN will bring the mic closer to him and opening his mouth and was just about to say something and he will cut KEVIN off and start to talk. O.O I'm just being honest in what I observed. Heh.

And the concert begin! First up, F.T. Island! :D

I know there's loads of HONGKI's pics. Well, he's Farah's fave in F.T. Island. So that explained. Anyway, my focus was on SEUNGHYUN, obviously. At first I was cheering like a mad fan girl. But soon after I kept quiet and tried to focus on SEUNGHYUN. I was excited and a little upset at the same time. Why? Because he was that NEAR but that FAR at the same time. So near, yet so far. I wanted to meet him up close at the airport. But too bad, they had to exit through the CIP/VIP way.

Also, I browsed through everywhere and there wasn't a lot of SEUNGHYUN's pic! How sad right! Of course I'm glad to see the rest of F.T. Babies' pics. I love HONGKI, JAEJIN, MINHWAN and JONGHOON too. :) But there was only a few of SEUNGHYUN's pics and all of them were blurry! Grrr. Thankfully, there's one by MYKPLAYGROUND. Thank you! :D

Coincidence huh? Haha. Hopefully one day, I'll get to meet F.T. Babies again. Hopefully they'll have a fan meet or something here in SG. Hopefully. Hopefully! *prays* lol! But I thank God for letting me meet him in person already! Heheh! :D

Okay right now I'm google-ing them. Oh! The guy I recognised was HanJun (standing next to SunWoong) and the other guy whom I find BAMF! was...ok I don't know which one. But he's the one standing on the most right in the above pic. They're actually a 7 member boy band but there's only 5 here. I don't know but they're great. :)

I swear I don't know any of their members. I felt lost when they were performing. I don't even know their songs. Perhaps I know one of the songs. Cos one sounded familiar. So, Fuchsia for them! :) Next, they're known for the all-good-looking-boy-band. So yeah, always. Blue for them ALL! Lastly, I'll give the RED to HAEWON. My fave in X-5 will be TAEFUNG, then ZIN (he looked extra good in person too!) then GHUN. Okok, the maknae too~SULHU. But I never really fancy HAEWON as much. He's good looking yeah. But, the least in X-5 to me. (Don't bash me up for this, lol.) BUT, I never knew he looked THAT GOOD in person! Yes, he looked so good in person! Cheers! ^^ Their first time in SG, glad to be one of the first to meet them in person! :D

5. The Boss

Hmm. I know of their existence. Definitely. They are sunbaes of X-5. I don't recognise them though. But, as eager as I was in getting to know them before KMW, I was bashed by their fans for no apparent reason. Let me tell you what happened.

I was watching a video of X-5 on YouTube, and I happen to see a group of guys behind them who were equally as cute! So I asked who they were. Then I was bashed. -.- The fans were thinking that I was insulting "The Boss" when I was literally asking who they were because I wanted to know them...and NOT being sarcastic and insulting them at all. They thought I was being sarcastic and was trying to say that X-5 is way better than "The Boss" and I don't see why I should recognise them. Lol. They think too much! I was just asking this, "Omg who are those boys behind X-5?" Something similar to that. I can't remember. But no way I'm gonna watch that video again and seeing their comments.

Narrow-minded people. *Sigh* Thanks to those fans, I wasn't in a mood for "The Boss". I know it's not their fault. But, it kinda reminded me of the bashing incident which was tremendously heartbreaking. There were many of them attacking me. Yes, 3 or 4 against me. Only me. So, yeah. :( If you're asking who won the "battle", yeah I "won". I don't think it was a win for me though. It was rather a successful attempt in shutting their mouths. But that doesn't matter. Besides all that, I thought their songs were good. :)

6. Teen Top

I swear they were BAMF! in person. I've always thought of them as young boys who are adorable and cute, but too young for me to go crazy about. Lol. So, I never really took notice of TEEN TOP. Even KEVIN mentioned that they are really YOUNG. KEVIN is already YOUNG enough to me. And if KEVIN said that, you know what that means. Heh. SEUNGHYUN is exceptional though. Heheh!

Not only they are BAMF!, they performed really well and their songs are BAMF! too. The only song I know by them was "Clap" before KMW. But they've got more great catchy songs! If I'm not wrong, it's their first visit to SG too! :D

7. miss A

My favourite in miss A? JIA and MIN! (: JIA is always so cool and awesome. MIN is cute and bubbly! Both are GREAT dancers. SUZY is cute. Really. She's got lots of fans. But let me talk about FEI. She is HOT in person! Trust me she is HOTTER in person. I was like -> O.O <- yeah. Lol. It was their first time in SG too and I'm glad to be one of the first to meet them in person! :D :D (I've repeated this phrase I know)

When 2NE1 started to perform, everyone stood up! Yes, EVERYONE. Their first song was "Fire"...and of course I danced along to their "Eh Eh Eh Eh Eh Eh Eh! 2NE1!" Lol! Also to "I am the Best". That song is BAMF! And "Lonely"!! MA GOD! And "I Don't Care!" Woohoo. Everyone got so excited when it comes to 2NE1. Yeah they're the main highlight anyway. It was exciting but I was a little upset because nobody stood up for the rest of the lineup.

It's just sad because me and my friends were among the few who cheered for all the idols and not only 1 or 2 like most people. This is a typical scene though. I realised most people will only cheer for their favourites. I mean c'mon, you paid for it and since it cost a bomb, just have some fun and cheer for everyone~ I even cheered for Dal Shabet when I don't know any of them and their songs! Lol! Just be supportive lah c'mon! But nevermind, it's their money, their problem. But they should just be supportive cause the idols came from far away and this is the chance. Okay whatever. Haha. I had fun with my friends, so whatever.

Anyway yes I was so happy I got to see them live! It's their first time in SG too! Omg so many 1st timers! BOM was hot. As usual. MINZY was awesome during her performances! She did the split and all. Our dearest DARA, my God! She's so little! So cute! I mean, she doesn't look that small on TV. But she's small sized! Really cute!! I love her more already! (: Oh I saw her brother, THUNDER, last month and this month the noona. Heheh. Yeah big deal for me. If you know me well, you would know how much I love MBLAQ (As much as F.T. Island). So anything related will be a huge deal. :)

Oh lastly, CL was BAMF! Nothing new. Just total awesomeness.

10. BigBang (Finale)

I have nothing much to say about BigBang. Lol. I like them. But I don't love them. Get what I mean? Haha.

Yes they were awesome, everyone stood up, danced along, sang along. They performed as a group, then separated as VIP, Taeyang and GD&TOP. But I just stood there, stared at them blankly. I was cheering for them too, just clapping my hands. Haha. I guess I got tired after 3 hours or so? Hmm, please don't get me wrong though. I've tried my best to love them more and tried watching their shows, listen to their songs. But it just doesn't get to me. I don't feel for them as much as I feel for let's say MBLAQ or F.T. Island. I've tried but I just can't. But they're really good and I like them. :) Farah was a HUGE fan. So you can imagine how much she was screaming. Heheh.

Oh! But GD was BAMF! O.O Speechless. He's the one I like most in BigBang anyway. Heeheehee.

"I Need Space"

Have you ever come across those words from your significant other? Or something similar?

A few days ago, my mum and I listened to "The O Show" by Fiza O on Ria 89.7FM. (We're a fan of her. Hehe.) As usual, the topics/issues being raised are always "hot". On that particular day, there was a female caller asking Fiza O and other listeners for help. She told her story:

Her boyfriend told her that he needs space. (For whatever reason, I can't recall) But, yeah she did gave him the "space" that he wanted. For 3 whole pathetic months, she waited for him. She tried calling, texting, etc. He ignored her phone calls & text messages. So, she asked for some advice from Fiza O & listeners on what she should do because she's confused and didn't know what to do.

Poor girl. I feel her.

Based on my personal experience, "space" means breaking up. Of course I was like her before, waited like an idiot. Lol. Excuse my language. I honestly felt like talking to the girl personally and advice her on what she should do. But too bad, I don't even know who she is.

So, Fiza O helped her by asking the listeners for advice on what the girl should do. Some female callers told her to move on. Suddenly, Fiza O received a call from a male species. Here's what his advice was:

He said that as a guy and from a guy's point of view, "space" actually means breaking up. I was like "I knew it..". Experience plays a part huh? Heh. He added, "We tell the girl that we want "space" instead of telling her that we want to break up is because we are afraid that we might hurt the girl's feelings. It's because we are concern over her feelings, that is why we choose to tell the girl that we need "space" instead of telling her directly."

I was LITERALLY LAUGHING OUT LOUD when he said all those words. Are you serious?? LOL!

Fiza O darling asked him back, "So by telling the girl that you need "space" instead of telling her directly that you want to break up is being concern, you say?"

He fought back, "Yes because we don't want to hurt their feelings. We are concern, yes. We are afraid that we might hurt their feelings."

Fiza O asked him again, "So the main point is, you are AFRAID?" He got angry and raised his voice saying this and that, reasons, whatever. Fiza O asked him for the final time, "Yes, but the main point is YOU ARE AFRAID, yes?"

Guess what? He AGREED and laughed. -.- Then, Fiza O cut the line off to end the conversation perhaps to not let it turn into a nasty argument.

Now is my turn.

At which part of "I need space" and keeping silent, ignoring the girl means you are concern to not hurt her feelings? At which freaking point? For guys out there, if you have the same opinion as the guy above, let me tell you this. It is 110% better if you just tell the girl straight to her face that you want to break up with her instead of going around the bush and making her wait like a fool.

If you ever thought that there are ways of not getting the girl hurt, then you are obviously wrong. How can a silent treatment be not hurtful if one day she finds out that you are no longer interested after waiting for you? Be a gentleman. Tell her straight that you no longer want to continue the relationship. Yes, she will get hurt. But trust me, based on my experience, telling the girl straight to her face that you want to end it is way less hurtful than waiting for months and knowing that you waited for nothing.

If you are concern and you know that both of you are not suitable for each other, let her go. Tell her, so she knows. By doing so, you are hurting her of course. BUT in a way, you are giving her a chance. A chance to move on and find someone else. To be with someone who's meant to be with her in the future. Not wasting her time. Again, be a gentleman. It's hard to tell her straight to her face and seeing her cry and all. But, isn't it better than being a coward?

Fiza O mentioned this, "Love is no assignment for cowards." If you dare to fall in love, then, dare to face the challenges. Because love means facing your biggest fears. I ever blogged about love and relationships in the past. Similar to this post. It might sound like I'm an anti. It's like I hate men. After reading my post, some of my guy friends "attacked" me. Heh. Maybe after this post, some guys would "attack" me again.

C'mon guys. If you are not like these crappy guys, why terasa (feel guilty)? If you feel so, that just means that you've done that to someone before, right? Heh. Not all guys are like that of course, I know that. :) And that does not mean that ladies are perfect. Some have gone haywire. I know.

8 ways to earn even after death

Recently, a friend retweeted this and it caught my attention. I feel that there's a need to share this with my muslim friends. :)

1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Every time they read from it, you gain.
2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it, you gain.
3) Teach someone to recite a dua (prayer).
4) Share a Quranic CD or a link to a Quranic video or website.
5) Participate in building a Masjid (Mosque).
6) Place a water cooler in a public place.
7) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or animal sits in its shade or eats from it.
8) Share this message with people. If even one person applies any of the above, you gain.

Let me add. As for number 5, besides participating in building a Masjid, you may also consider donating generously. :) I learned this from my grandmother. She donates 1 dollar every week to Masjid. Of course passing the money to my father when he went for his Friday prayers every week. A dollar each week is nothing much. Insya'Allah, murah rezeki! :D

Hello all! Oh no~ I'm doing it again. I've not been updating. Sorry about that. Somehow, I've been really busy with some stuff lately (besides having to update my other sites of course). I can't find the time although I have lots to update. But like I said before, I need to find the right time to update properly cos I only want to write quality post. :)

K-Pop Heal The World (Updated!)

Since I have a request to update on my experiences, I shall do it then. :) I will divide them into different parts: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3~!

Part 1: MBLAQ's Arrival at Changi Airport Terminal 3.

I've never done this before. So, I was really anxious and curious how these boys actually look like in person. Also, because I wasn't able to go to the concert, I took the time to welcome them at the airport. Just because I love them. ^^ I wanted to welcome T-ara and T-max too (For Soyeon, Eunjung and Kim Joon). But couldn't. Their flight arrived at 2pm. MBLAQ's arrival was at 2.15pm. I didn't want to take the risk and rush all over. So I chose MBLAQ. :) You can view the video on my Facebook account.

Yes of course it was short. It was REALLY short. About 30-60 seconds? Haha. But the experience is worth while. I'm talking about BEFORE and AFTER the arrival of MBLAQ. It's interesting to see other A+ together with you. What's really funny is, their reactions and all those stuff..you know what I mean? Heheheh!

We came quite early, so there weren't many A+ around. (A+ is the name of MBLAQ's fan) Soon after, came more and more secondary school students. I overheard so many conversations and it was too hilarious! Not that I wanted to eavesdrop, but they were talking so loudly! Some were saying that there were times when they go over the barrier just to reach the idols. Worst, if they aren't able to see the idols due to the huge crowd, they cry out loud. Oh, even if they can see the idols clearly, some would still cry. Hmm, the things they do for idols. Priceless. Although I think by crying is a bit too overreacting. No offence! I'm a fan too. Although my reactions are different, I kinda understand. (I might get irritated sometimes, sorry).

Anyway, the experience was fun fun fun! Did I mention that Seungho smiled and waved at me? Yeah, too good to be true. I can't believe it myself. Haters might say I shiok sendiri and all. But who cares. Padi was there to be an eye witness. If you saw the video, you can see at one time Seungho (wearing the red cap) was about to wave? Yeah that one. The video was taken by Padi. I'll be glad to do this again. :)

After that,.... about the Conrad Hotel incident. I don't think I'm gonna share. Padi and Diana would know what I'm talking about. Kekeke~

Part 2: MBLAQ & T-Max at Conrad Hotel, Press Conference.

I didn't manage to attend the Press Conference because I'm not among the first 500 Cat 1 ticket holder. But here are the videos that has been recorded during the press conference for non-attendee's pleasure! (:

Part 3: K-Pop Heal The World Concert.

Okay, I know I said I was gonna update on Sunday. I'm only 2 days late~ Sorry~ Heehee. Anyway, yes finally an update about the concert itself. It's my first time so there's lots of shocking/weird/unexpected things that happened. I learned a few lessons from this experience and I shall share them. To whoever who are inexperience, take note alright.

Before the concert began, we had to queue for over an hour or so!! It was damn tiring!! All the fans were sweating like as if we just had our shower!! I almost lost my mood for the concert cos it was so tiring.

Lesson Learned No. 1: Do not be too excited and queue up early. Your seats won't run away. Nobody will take your seats unless it's free seating (which isn't likely to happen).

Besides getting all "wet", there were a few things I observed from probably a group of experienced concert goer.

They were not queuing.

At first I was wondering why they weren't even queuing. I mean, the queue was really really really long! They were just standing/sitting down relaxing and chit-chatting. Now I know why.

But just as I entered Max Pavillion, the feeling of excitement got better. It was really exciting (that is if you love the K wave). As you can see, we weren't that far from the stage. Yes, Cat 1 seats. Hehe. This was all last minute I tell you. But I guess we're lucky to get pretty good seats for last minute buyers. Now, it's time for pic spam! Only pics with k-pop artiste will be made bigger. Other than that, medium size will do lah okie? I don't want my blog to look messy. ;P

Wing Eyeliner (Cat Eye)

I've always wanted to learn how to draw a cat eye. Doesn't it look really pretty on the eyes? Whenever I saw someone wearing a cat eyed eyeliner, I'll ask them how they do it (if I know them). As for strangers, I'll observe closely~ Not that I'll stalk them or something for the sake of seeing closely. Lol! I just wanted to see how they do it. So, a friend of mine, Sheena(: shared with me this video.

Then, I started to realise how easy it looked. Notice I mentioned "how easy it looked"? It might look easy, but when I tried applying it the way she does, I miserably FAILED. Hahaha! But I think she displayed a good technique which made me so eager to try. So I practiced. And this is how it looks like at its best.

So, how's my work? Hehe~ perhaps not as good as her. I didn't dare to pull it up too high. =/ A short one for a start. But I'll keep practicing to improve on my skill! Then will I try the long wing-cat-eye-look~ I'll have a perfect cat eye.....in the future. Haha~ ^^

Graduation.

As some of you might know, I graduated recently. :) No words can describe the feeling as I went up the stage to collect my cert. If you know me well, you will know how much this mean to me. Thank God for giving me an opportunity to achieve 1 of my goals. Also to those around me who've helped me come this far. Thank you. Here are some pics~ :))

Previously I asked, what defines beauty? When it comes to the word beautiful, who's the first person that comes to your mind?

Probably she's one of them. Agree? Yes, to me she's really gorgeous. By far, none of the people I know disagree that she's beautiful. So does that mean that everyone thinks similarly? That she's beautiful? If that is so, what ever happened to the phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"?

The phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", it means that beauty is subjective. It depends on the eyes of the beholder. The term beauty may differ for different people. But when it comes to people like Kate Middleton, do we throw that phrase away since she's a beauty in everyone's eyes?

Those are just thoughts. Something to think about. But I shall move on and get back to the topic. What defines beauty anyway?

If you ask me, I'll agree with the phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". As for my case, some people might think I'm cute or pretty or whatsoever. (Sorry for this, don't puke! HEHE.) But I believe that there are some people out there who thinks that I'm not attractive or not as attractive and so on. I accept that fact. I mean, you can't expect everyone to think/feel the same way towards you right? There are even guys who are prettier than ladies. Haha! Pretty boys.

See! He's prettier than me! -.- Hahaha!

On the other hand, if you keep hearing people saying negative things towards you especially on looks, just remember that there are people out there who thinks otherwise! :) One thing for sure, you should avoid those people who tries to bring you down! I've had people calling me names, insulting me, et cetera. But that was what I did, I avoided them. Of course it was hurtful, I have feelings too. But, you have the power to control your feelings - not them. You are the owner of your life, choose and learn.

Sometimes, we need help. If you can't handle it, look for someone you can trust. There are definitely people around for you to look for. Definitely. ;)

No.1 person to look for: Your mother. She gave birth to you, she definitely think of you as her most precious thing in the world. The first person I look for when I'm having troubles, my mum! :D Besides that, it can be any other person who's a dear to you. Also, remember to learn how to trust. I know it's difficult to trust people nowadays. But if you are afraid to trust, you'll lose out. Choose your friends wisely - because I'm picky when it comes to close friends. :)

But if there aren't anyone to look for, look for GOD. Don't make GOD the last resort though, remember that. GOD should be the first you should look for. GOD is ALWAYS there. Let me quote what Carrisa Puteri said, "Your relationship with GOD is more important than anything because you know for sure that's a relationship that will last forever." :)

There are also times when people try so hard to be someone else. Or be like someone else. I love this quote by Taylor Swift. She's right. Why are you trying to be the same as the other person? Why are you copying him/her? Are they better than you are? Everyone is born unique. Why change to be the same? Of course if you have someone to look upon and change FOR THE BETTER, why not. But don't change yourself into a stranger.

Have faith. Believe.

Besides beauty, personality plays an important role too. In fact, it's more important. Don't only focus on the outside. Because if your personality outshines, you're even more attractive as a whole.

Look at yourself in the mirror. That is God's creation. God's beautiful creation. Learn how to appreciate it. Enjoy your being. :)

Lastly, I shall wrap up everything I've said. You can't control the way people think/feel about you. Appreciate yourself and love those who loves you. Forget the rest. Like the saying goes, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Hi everyone! ^^ I'll be updating soon (perhaps tomorrow or Sunday) on Beauty. I have already gotten the idea of doing so in the past week. But I've gained more ideas after watching the Royal Wedding. She's so lucky~! And beautiful! I will share my thoughts soon.

*** I've been busy lately with some stuff. Also, I've been managing my other blog which are mainly and only for K-love. I've been trying to maintain the site and keep updating it. So, my focus is there now. I don't wanna neglect this blog though. And I won't. From now, I'll be updating K-stuff on that other blog so as to not include them here. It is to keep track of the shows I'm watching and that are on pending. Besides that, I don't wanna include too much K-stuff here anyway (But I still will hehe). I know I have lots of readers who are not into K-pop or the K industry. So that explains why I'm doing so. Haha. It's fun to have a site to maintain especially on something you are fond of. ^^ I'll not share the link here. Or at least not for now. So, I hope you'll understand why it's difficult for me to update stuff here. I feel uneasy looking at the increase in the sitemeter. Lol. OK.

Truthfully, this wasn't what I wanted to update on. Kekeke. But if I were to write about it, it'll take long since I have lots of ideas. Also, I need time, effort and the right "mood" too! If not I wouldn't be able to write a proper one (which I don't quite like cos I only want to write quality post).

So, I've decided to post this one. I'll write the proper one when I got lots of time. Okay, so.... B1A4. They're a new Korean boy band. This song up here is really addictive! Got stuck to its tune the first time I listened to it. :) If you were to ask (and even if you can't be bothered hehe), my favourite/bias will be Jinyoung (The leader). ^^

The Sun.

If I haven't told you guys this, yes I'm into Astronomy. It's been a while actually. But I think this is my very first "confession". Haha. But I've talked about it on twitter before though. Anyway, if you didn't know...

Some facts:

The Sun is a star.
It is 92 million miles away from Earth.
It is more than 4 and a half billion years old.
It has no solid surface. It is comprised of gases: Hydrogen (92.1%), Helium (7.8%), Oxygen (0.061%) & Carbon (0.030%). Gravity binds them together pressing them towards the center giving the Sun its spherical shape. That gravity also creates intense pressure and huge amount of friction. Friction that causes the Sun's Hydrogen to be converted into Helium. Which means, the Sun is a super-sized atomic reactor (The process is called Nuclear Fusion).
Nuclear Fusion: It occurs when 2 atomic nuclei are forced together forming a single new element releasing huge amount of access energy. Every second of everyday, our Sun produces as much energy as 1 trillion megaton bombs.
5.5 billion years from now, the Sun will begin to go out. Having consumed most of its Hydrogen fuel, the core will contract and heat up, causing the outer layers to expand. Our Sun will become the red giant. Growing so large that it will actually reach the current orbit of the Earth. To sum up all the facts that I've stated above, as important as the Sun is to us here - it just means that one day the Sun is gonna destroy planet Earth. Sounds funny and unrealistic? Well, based on scientific explanation, these are facts. It's SCARY right?! Fortunately, it won't happen in billions of years. (But no one guarantees that. The world can end at any time and no one knows when.)

I'm not trying to scare you, but it will happen someday. I'm just sharing what I've learned and realised. As for now, I shall continue typing in Malay. :)

Sebelum para saintis membuat kajian lalu mendapatkan maklumat yang telah dikongsi, semua itu sudah sekian lama tertulis di dalam Al-Quran.

Setelah melihat video ini, ia memberi saya kesadaran dan memperingatkan saya bahawa dunia ini sudah "tua". Banyak petanda yang ada untuk memperingatkan kita semua tetapi tidak ramai yang sedar. How to avoid?

Firstly, I shall list down the possible networking sites that all of them might do it excessively.

Twitter

Tumblr
Other blogging sites

So who am I talking about? I'm talking about Korean lovers or in other words those who are obsessed with K-related stuff. I know a lot of people have been complaining before this on how the fans tweet excessively, blah blah blah. The haters have stopped. But there are a few of them who are still mad at us. Yes I said "us" because I'm a K-lover! Hehe. I know that's pretty obvious. ;P

I don't do it excessively though. But you know what you can do? If you're on Facebook, and you have friends who keep updating their FB on K-stuff which are not appealing to you at all, what you can do is:

REMOVE THEM FROM YOUR NEWS FEED.

That's all you need to do. :) With that you can happily surf FB without any K updates. As for twitter, this is worst than FB cos we may just spam the timeline with it. If you're too irritated,

UNFOLLOW THEM.

It might hurt us though...for those sensitive ones. But if you tell us and clarify things, hopefully they'll understand. As for me, I don't think I do it excessively on twitter though. I do talk about it a lot with my friends who are K lovers too. But it won't appear on the timeline right? So it's fine. BUT, I do it a lot on my blog. So if you have friends who updates their blog/tumblr/other blogging related sites with K-stuff,

STOP READING THEM.

Simple right? Haha. I mean, all these are simple steps to avoid K-lovers/obsessed peeps. It should be done automatically and not be "instructed". LOL. I'm not blogging this cos I have people complaining. But these are suggestions in case you're facing it. Hahaha. ;P

On Repeat: Part II.

Hey! Like I've said, I'll have more songs that are on repeat right? Here's the continuation. It's all Korean songs. :) This time, I'm updating on songs that are of slower tempo. Mid tempo to ballad-like melodies. It's the 'Battle of the Voices'! These people have great vocals. :)

Broken by Seo In Guk.

Seo In Guk is the winner of Mnet's talent show, Superstar K (Season 1) in 2009. He has a very unique look. Anyway, this song is really addictive. I got hooked the first time I listened to it! I got attracted by the way he sang and pronounce the word "Broken". Different. Very asian-like....I like! :)

My Heart is Beating by K-Will.

This song is rather sweet. (: The video is as sweet as the song! It made me go "Awwwww...". I love everything about this song and video seriously! Hahaha. Okay okay, the video is featuring our sexy Lee Joon of MBLAQ and our sweetheart, IU. About K-Will, his voice is just.....beautiful. His voice makes the song outstanding. (:

You Are the Best of My Life by Lee Hyun.

Lee Hyun's voice is powerful. This video features comedian Jung Juri and Changmin of 2am. It's a funny video in a way. Haha. But I love how the story goes. In the end, he still can't live without her after realising that she's not his dream girl. In fact, she's even better than his dream girl. After all, his dream girl doesn't exist. He goes for personality indeed. The one who can make him happy...not just based on looks. :)

Dreaming by Kim Soo Hyun.

There's no need for introduction for Kim Soo Hyun. He's already so popular. If you have watched "Dream High". I haven't actually. -.- There's just too many shows to watch. I'll watch it someday. But you see, I don't even watch the show but I know of his existence. He's that popular. Haha. He's cute right, ladies? :) Besides the cuteness, of course he has a good voice. That's it. ;P

0330 by U-Kiss.

Ahhh finally a group! It has been solo singers all the way from the start. Hehe. Bran New Kiss. That's how they spell it. It was saddening remembering the departure of one of my favourite U-Kiss member, Alexander. He was such a funny guy! I love him. Not forgetting Kibum. He's not my favourite though. Haha.

Anyway, their new album brings out a totally new concept. But I love it. Especially this song: 0330. Unique? Yes, very. We have the new members replacing Xander and Kibum: Hoon and AJ. Hoon has such an amazing-sweet-voice-I-loike! ;P Kevin has been my bias from the start though. But I'm slowly changing to Hoon. Oh my god! I know I know. But he's really talented and cute right! Hahahaha. I love them both. Hmm I love all of them! They're adorable and funny and good looking. All of them. :)

And my favourite part of the lyrics:

"Don't deny our R Square Pi"

The first time I listened to this song, I was like "What was that?! That was cool!" I mean, how could you even get mathematics be involved in song writing? That's really awesome! People are all confuse over the lyrics. But from my interpretation, I guess "R Square Pi" is the formula for the area of circle right? So, why would the song writer choose formula of an area to a circle and not other shapes? Maybe cos a circle has no end. His love for his ex-gf has no end. Vice versa. He wants to get back together. He can't seem to forget his ex-gf and keep thinking about her every night....especially at 0330am. :) That's the title of the song. "Don't deny our R Square Pi" - Don't deny that our love has no end.

Well that's my interpretation. Watch here to see the english sub for this song. :) I know the description for this song is the longest. Yes I really love this song. It makes me smile cos it's beautifully written and the melodies are stuck in my head. Especially with the beautiful voices of U-Kiss.

It Hurts by Yangpa.

And finally a lady! This lady has got great vocals! I love her voice! A really sad MV too. I cried. If you're confused over the story line, well here it goes.

It's about a couple who got into an accident. Sadly, only the girl survived but went blind. She just can't accept the fact that her bf is gone. The door that she keeps going to represents Heaven. She keeps wanting to go to him. Her bf pushed her away at the door as he wants her to continue living her life. But in the end, as he do not want her to suffer, he took her away with him.

You can see at the end of the video both of them are gone. She was in her friend's car when it blast. The guy crying was her friend. Both of them finally met...in Heaven, where she can see him clearly and be with him again. :)

Sad right?! So touching! Love story~ Boohoo. Hahaha. I know I know. If you're dying to know who's in the video, that hot guy who acted as her bf. Well, that's Sung Je from the band Supernova. :)

7%-38%-55% rule.

*** I've decided to change some of the videos from previous posts because somehow, most of the videos turned private. -.- Have a look at the recently uploaded/updated ones! :) Also, since I've been blogging about music a lot lately, I've decided to go for a change today. It might be boring if you're not interested in theories and such. But I'm sharing anyway because it's interesting to me! :D ***

Some of you might have heard of Albert Mehrabian's theory of communication. Communication is based on three elements:

Words
Tone of voice
Nonverbal behaviour (E.g. Facial Expression, body language)

Here's a pie chart of how it looks like for visual understanding. It's based on the 7%-38%-55% rule.

It is also known as the "3 Vs" for Verbal, Vocal and Visual. So, how reliable is his theory?
It means that we use 55% of body language when communicating with others. We use body languages more than our voice/tone and words? Hmm. No wonder there are many arguments on this. Let's use different situations.
Firstly, these days, the world is so high tech and almost everyone is using hand phones (text messages) and email/fb/twitter/etc. to communicate right? With these, there's no voice/tone and there's no body language. Does that mean that these communication "devices" only convey 7% of the message across?
It may or may not be true.
Have you realised that we usually have misunderstandings due to communications through these "devices"? I sure do face loads of misunderstandings through these "devices". But does that mean only 7% is conveyed? Hmm.
Another thing, can you watch a person speaking in a foreign language and understand 93% of what they're talking about? As for me, I'm into Korean music and shows. That's pretty obvious I guess. Haha. So, when I watch their shows, I can listen to their voice/tone and also see their body languages. But the words that are being spoken, there's no way I can understand what they're talking about without English sub. So does that mean that I will understand 93% of what they're talking about since spoken words only consist of 7%? No, I usually don't. I might understand about 50-70% though. But definitely NOT 93%. If I can understand 93% of what they're talking about then I wouldn't need English sub. -.-
Okay I know it's a boring topic. Haha. To not make it that boring, here's a video. It's from a Korean variety show called "2 days and 1 night". Thanks to Hamie for recommending me this episode! :) Watch it and you are sure gonna laugh! If you don't find it funny, you're not human. Or at least for ladies, watch it because of our dear Lee Seung Gi. Hehe. But how does it relate to the topic? I'll explain later. But I seriously wanna play this game! It looks fun! :D

Incase you don't get how the game goes:

The first player will read what's written and try to pass the message across. The rest of the players are with headphones on, music blasting to their ears. The players can only observe body language (facial expressions, body movements). No spoken words, no voice/tone. So according to Professor Albert Mehrabian's theory, the players will be able to get 55% of the conveyed message. In the video, most of the messages are not successfully brought across. If it's 55%, I suppose at least half the time, the message should be brought across right? According to his theory that is. But no. Hmm but they at least got 1 right. And the players in the middle sometimes get it right but the last one got it wrong. So, it's hard. Haha.

That brings us to the last part, it's written somewhere that this theory isn't a general rule that you can transfer to any given communication situation. So it depends on the situation. I see I see. That explained I guess.

Honestly, who wouldn't be happy to have a stalker like Yong Guk? Seriously? God, he's too cute for the title "stalker". I would want a stalker like him. HAHAHA.

Hmm about this song. It's sad actually. Click on play and read the English sub. I love the melody. It's about her trying to let go of her love for her ex. "You've done well. Well done. Ahhh yes. If you're heartbroken (don't care what gender you are. haha), you should listen to this song! Very encouraging, somehow. I know it's kinda weird of me to listen to this song. It's all beats and a song that you might hear in clubs and all. Haha. Yeah, I don't club. But that does not stop me from listening to awesome songs like this. I got attracted to this song obviously because of the encouraging lyrics and awesome beats. My favourite part of the lyrics:

I've been watching the live coverage/ breaking news of the Earthquake cum Tsunami that happened in Japan through several websites like BBC, CNN and also Al Jazeera since 6pm. My prayers goes to those affected by the sudden tragedy.

What made me want to blog is when I saw the live coverage by BBC a few minutes ago on an interview with an expert. I can't recall her name. But she was asked by the newscaster on whether it's possible to detect a Tsunami. The expert's answer was that if we're asking about the possibility of detecting a Tsunami is in fact asking how is it possible to detect an Earthquake. After all, Tsunamis are caused by Earthquakes. The expert answered that it is not possible to detect an Earthquake.

I came to think about the possibility of detecting it and realised that a few hours ago, my mom told me something about it. She told me that recently she saw on tv about fishermen getting lots of fishes and they were so excited about it. She said that the fishes even jumped onto the fisherman's boat by itself. How is that even possible? Of course as fishermen, you'll be so glad to catch so many fishes without much effort.

Okay here's the thing. My mom said that it's not easy becoming a fisherman because most fishes love swimming deeply in the ocean. It's their home after all. So catching a huge amount of fishes at the same time will be weird right? I mean when they even jump off the sea by themselves, isn't it weird? Is it possible that the fishes had "detected" a possible Earthquake? Which causes them to "run" far away?

Earthquake is from underneath. Deep deep under the ocean. I don't think we can feel it on land since we're "far away" from the core of the Earth's crust. So by logic, the ocean is "closer" to the crust right? So that means, those under the sea will be able to "detect" anything that is going to happen right? Yeah I think so. Haha. I think the fishes or underwater creatures are able to detect if there's an Earthquake coming. I really think so. Which is why they "ran up" as quickly to avoid the Earthquake? Or maybe their home is already destroyed? Those are signs. Maybe. I don't know but there's a possibility. Hmm.

I know nothing much about scientific matters or whatsoever related to it. That is why I have so many question marks. Lol. But I just think that it's logic to think that way though. Thanks to my mom for convincing me. So maybe the fishermen could help by giving reports on the amount of fishes that is being caught? It might sound funny. I think it sounds funny too. Hahaha. But it does makes sense right? My brother agreed too.

These are solely my opinion (my mom's opinion actually heehee). So if you disagree, I don't mind either. :)

300th Post! :)

Hi! For my 300th post, I shall blog about scarfs! :) Random, I know. Heehee. As you can see I started off with an enthusiastic "hi". So I'm feeling okay now at least. Can't be bothered to stay negative. It's tiring. Haha! :)

Anyway, I'm actually a fan of scarfs though I don't even wear them. Firstly, it'll be weird for me to wear it since Singapore is so warm. Secondly, I don't know how to wear them fancily. I love how the Koreans wear their kinda scarfs.

I really wanna know how he did this. It might look simple, but! O.o

I observe a lot of Koreans love wearing this kinda scarf. I have no idea why but I love it much!

Can you imagine wearing this in Singapore? Hehe.

And wearing this too? We'd probably suffer from heat exhaustion. Lol.

How do people pretend to be happy when they're not? I seriously don't get it. It's hard isn't it? It's either they pretend to hide their true hurtful feelings inside cos they don't want others to worry or they're just plain egoistic or they're just trying to stay positive....or what else?

I'm not a good actor. If I ain't happy, the times when I choose not to show my true feelings is when either I'm trying to stay positive or cos I don't want others to get irritated by my emo side or worry about me.

Another thing, if you're known for your positive side and there comes a time when you just can't seem to stay positive and you decided to let it out by crying or screaming or whatever, how will people react?

Argh. I don't know. This is a random post so bear with me. I've not been feeling too good lately. Not in terms of health btw. I've went through difficult times. We all have. It's when you've changed into a positive and happy person, suddenly something happens and flashbacks appear. I don't wish to go through those nonsense again.

Also, lately I've been hearing sad news from many friends about their broken love life. And I feel hurt too. To those who are hurting the other party, how does it feel? It feels good to hurt someone? It feels good to break their heart? I know some people do so for personal reasons. But still...

Oh yah, have you ever met someone who likes/love another person who is attached and somehow deeply in their heart, wishing that person was single or hoping that person breaks up with their lover? I swear I ~~hate~~ dislike those people. Those are evil thoughts. I mean c'mon. What the toot are you thinking? Yea sure you're so in love with that person but she/he is already in love with someone else. You feel hurt cos you can't get their love instead. So somehow you're looking forward to their break up someday. Or maybe cos that person is not happy and having a quarrel with their partner and so you think you can do a better job? So freaking what? What was that?

There are times when you keep thinking twice of doing something. And then you decided to do it cos you don't wanna regret not doing it. So even if you fail, at least you won't regret. But when you've tried and it doesn't turn out the way you want it to be, you would really wanna think positive and say "c'mon at least i've tried"...But you just can't? Instead, you regret doing it. Yah yah those sucky feelings. Of course there will be better times ahead and there's a reason to why it didn't happen the way you want it to be. But oh god! That feeling sucks. Especially when it happened a lot of times already.

Also, when you like someone, you tend to focus only on that person right? For most people that is. And it's when you're only focusing on that someone that you can almost forget about others around you. Have you ever thought that if you like someone but didn't get the same in return, someone else is out there waiting or observing you the same way you're observing the other person? Some of my friends are suffering from that. So, am I included?

Also, there are those who have failed so many times and they label themselves as philophobic. Oh that word is so familiar. I've used it before in my previous entries. I've successfully got out of that syndrome but to think of it, I still am. I mean, I'm okay. I'm not heartbroken or anything. Really. But it's just that whenever there comes a time when you wanna give it a try, you just can't? The door to my heart is not opened yet. Maybe I lost the key. Sorry. But there are also times when you thought that you found the key and try to open your heart using that key, but the door is still locked. You found the wrong key again.

You can also get confuse with your own feelings sometimes. When you thought that this is how you're feeling but deep inside, you know it's not it.

I have no reason to be angry or upset because of what happened recently actually. But I guess this feeling came up cos the situation keeps repeating, only in a different way and it reminds you of the past and you get all phobic again. It's frustrating when I've been a positive person all the while for a long time and things go wrong in a sudden. Or it is just me?

I guess it's best I learn the guitar and head towards my dream. It's way a better challenge than this. Even if I fail, it wouldn't hurt as much I guess.

Oh no I should stop complaining already. But I just had to let it out. It will make me feel better. But I should really stop complaining. God is testing me I guess. I know I'm stronger than this, whatever happened to me. I should get back up. On a positive note, there are always people being there for me and I'm thankful for that. Always.

I've been wanting to update on this topic since LAST YEAR but have not been able to. It's either I don't have the time or I totally forgot about it due to busy schedules. O.o

I found this on the internet and it's really interesting that rejection actually causes heartbrake too. Yeah heartBRAKE. Not only heartBREAK. As if heartbreak isn't enough to kill you. Rejection in what sense you may ask? When you're being rejected by another person. "Social rejection causes one's heart-rate to drop for a moment." It slows down your heart-rate. To think of it, it isn't that bad right? I mean it's only for a moment. Hahahaha. Ok I was kidding.

But.. "Rejection doesn't hurt quite as much when it's expected and you've braced for it." Know what that means? I'll give a situation example: If a guy is going after a girl and confesses to her about his feelings but is prepared for rejection somehow, then it doesn't quite hurt as much than when he's expecting it too much and got rejected. I guess it'll kill you for a while. Only for a while though. So chill and don't hope too much. Expect the worst to come. And if the best appear, you'll feel deeply blessed. If not, move on! :)

If you thought "What I want to do if I have a lover" was sweet, you should listen to this too. But before I share, I know there are lots of Korean haters out there. I know. Well this is a warning before you continue reading, if you're a Korean hater, then do not proceed. Kamsahamnida! ;P

Even so, I'm glad that there are some of my friends who are not a fan of Korean stuff (not a hater either) listening to the song I mentioned above and loved it! So maybe Korean haters should give it a try. If you never try, you'll never know right? Hahaha. :D

So for those who love Korean related stuff, you'll probably know this song if you have watched and are still watching the goguma couple. :D I'm talking about YongSeo here! I love them so much cos they're sweet like mad. Lol. I just love the way Yong is treating Hyun you know~ He has that kinda respect towards Hyun (She's all innocent. She's never fallen in love! SNSD's maknae Seohyun :D) and that's what I like! Guys should have respect for their woman you know?

God! My last update was on the 10th Jan, which was almost a month ago. O.o

Been busy with school and FYP (it seems that that's the only reason i keep giving yea?). But now i'm totally done with FYP! No more Xampp and all other nonsense related to it (except for the final exam, sigh). I guess i'll just update on my brother's 21st! :) - while watching "Lunar New Year's Special: Global Star Show" on KBS World now! ;P
