I heard that I've got avid readers who loves reading my blog? Thank you, I appreciate your time and do keep reading. I'll make sure this blog won't turn dusty okay? As you can see, I've been blogging for years already. Obviously, I love blogging/writing. But I can only do it during my free time. Hope you understand. (:
Anyway, this is for those of you who've watched the movie "Mantra". For those of you who have yet to watch, please do. But I'll have to warn you (just like how I've been warned before watching it), it can be quite disturbing. For those faint-hearted, I suggest you don't bother to watch. I can actually categorize myself as faint-hearted? (Notice the question mark) Because I can easily get disgusted with blood and all those related to it. Lol. But surprisingly, I was able to watch it. Of course I felt nauseated when I watched it even at the very beginning. But I was enthusiastic and wanted to know what happens next. So, I dared myself to watch it throughout. Hahaha.
I won't describe how disgusting it was, but I'll share what I learned from this movie. I watched this movie together with my parents and lil brother. My dad told me the moral of the story and I agreed. This movie is all about black magic and all those scary things right? But why did they bother practicing all those things? It's about that lady that both of them are crazy about. Please, as if she's the only lady left in this world?
- First thing, they didn't accept their own fate. (Tak percayakan Qada dan Qadar). Tak dapat that girl takpelah, asal nak susahkan diri pakai ilmu sumer semata2 kerana that girl?
- Secondly, it's because of revenge. Tak puas hati lah kan sebab tak dpt that girl. So each one of them wants to take revenge on each other. I mean, please? They just don't know how to settle it in a professional way is it? Hahaha.
Okay this is the serious part.
As what Baba Ali have said, "I will remind myself first before reminding others." Sometimes things go wrong and we blame fate or we will drown ourselves in danger/harmful acts without noticing it. It's when we have those feelings - anger, frustration, unsatisfied, etc. that creates a
spark for you to take revenge or do bad deeds. Like in the movie, both men practice black magic because of unsatisfactoriness and what did they get in return? Darkness itself.
If you respond to negative thoughts/actions negatively, you'll get the same in return. Satisfaction? I don't think so. The moral of the story is: Do not seek revenge.
Remember once I've shared this quote (one of my most favourite ones) : "Do not seek revenge, kill them with kindness"? Yeah, that one. Follow this quote, it helps. I always remind myself of it. Hope you'll do the same too. It's not easy, definitely. You may refer to my previous post - The one on Heart (in malay). God is fair, remember that. (:
