Hello. :) Just decided to blog after recalling what I learned last week in school. It was about Social Engineering. It's a pretty interesting topic but of course it's not encouraged to perform.

So, WHAT IS Social Engineering? It is an act of obtaining confidential information by manipulation of legitimate users. They who perform commonly use the telephone or internet to trick people into revealing sensitive information or get them to do something that is against typical policies.

Bad, bad people huh? Yeah, they're around. But it's unavoidable. Just be extra careful when you put useful/important information on the internet or wherever. Simple things like your mum's name for example, can be used for it.

Here's a video as an example. A bad example though. Haha. Sorry for the language. Don't get fooled easily and fall into people's trap. Whatever it is, be extra careful. Take good care readers! :)
