"People who hold negative views about old people and aging are more likely to suffer a cardiovascular illness in future."

Amazingly true. The Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging revealed that among participants age 49 and under, those who agreed with statements such as "old people are helpless" were significantly more likely to experience a cardiovascular event in the following 38 years (after adjusting for a number of relevant variables). It seems that positive views about aging will make you live longer!
